Fantastic dry cleaning service! My clothes always come back spotless, fresh, and perfectly pressed. They handle each item with care and attention to detail. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Orders are completed on time, and the prices are reasonable. I’m very satisfied and will continue using their services.
They have lost a customer of over 14 years. They have shown a pattern of being careless with my clothing. The servicing contract was changed about 8-9 months ago and things continue to decline at a higher price. Every order is prepay, so you have paid before any service is rendered. They repeatedly forget what I request. I ask for no crease in pants but it seems their default is to crease my pants. This last time I received my unwanted creased pants with weird ink stains in them. I noticed it when I went to hang my pants at home. This is the third damaged item I have received. They ripped a shirt and destroyed the buttons on my wife's dress. And thus they lost a customer. There is better service for a better price on island.
A wave splashed my wedding dress towards the end of my photo session so I wanted to clean it up right away. It was a tiny bit wet with some dirtiness near the bottom, and I was flying to Maui the next day and didn't want to bring it onto the plane like that. I found Aloha Dry Cleaners and Laundry on Yelp and called them right away because of all the good reviews. Though they were going to close in the next hour, they told me to bring my dress in and promised to return it before I flew back to the mainland in about a week. Once I got to the store, which is located in a super convenient location at the Ala Moana Center, the staff checked my dress and once again confirmed that they can clean it in the given time frame. He also mentioned that the product they will use for the cleaning might remove a good amount of the sparkles on the dress. I was a little worried about that but decided that I could always add more sparkles after, though this wasn't a problem when I got back the dress. He charged me $200 for my item. I left the store thinking that I left the dress in good hands. However, when I checked the dress upon pickup, I noticed there was a twig and a big noticeable stain at the bottom of the dress. The same worker plucked off the twig and said a twig or two left in the dress is normal. Maybe, but when I got back home, I found a HANDFUL of twigs still stuck in the dress. Is that still normal? Was there no quality control performed? As for the stain, the worker said it's probably permanent... The possibility of the dress having a permanent stain was NEVER relayed to me when I first brought my dress in. If I knew, I wouldn't have paid $200 to get it cleaned. I would've just waited until I returned to NYC. The worker basically took no responsibility for the mediocre cleaning, so I left the store feeling disappointed. Not to mention, I later discovered that there were actually MULTIPLE "permanent" stains on the dress and not just the one that I saw upon pickup. I still have to rewear the dress in June, so once I got back to NYC, I researched ways to clean the dress myself. Oxiclean Versatile Stain Remover surprisingly did the job!! And I did it within a few hours... So I technically could've just saved the $200 and cleaned it myself. Afterward, I sent the business a complaint through Yelp but received no response from them.
Brought in a medium sized bag and was charged 75 dollars for just wash dry fold. Receipt showed 1 bag and 1 half bag. When I got my clothes back it was no bigger than the size a beach volleyball. Tried to question the cost compared to description but didn’t get any help. I guess the key at this place is to roll your clothes up tight in a small bag before dropping them off.
The staff were friendly and they were miracle workers at getting the stains out of my clothes. I think some of the reviews on here are describing previous management. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences - military-friendly to boot!
