We have a 90lb 5 year - Judy, and a 35lb 1 year old - Maury, both Pitt/lab mixes. They are great dogs but hyper active at times, and I could never get them to walk calmly without pulling. Larry taught us how to change our communication with them, and now they wait to be let in when I open the back door, they wait to come into the pantry when is feeding time, and the best part, they walk right by my side at my pace, and stop when I stop. Our walks are very enjoyable now. Larry and I just walked Maury around Lowe’s department store this weekend, and he Maury stayed by my side the whole time! Something that would have been impossible a couple months ago. We’ve gotten a lot better at staying calm and not rushing to the door when guests come over, we are still working on that one. Before we hired Bark Busters my wife I said to each other, we would literally pay any amount if we could have well behaved dogs, so we went for it. Larry & Bark Busters was worth every penny. Google reviews won’t let me upload a video, so a couple screenshots will have to do. Maury was always very tough on walks, always pulling. Here are pics from after the training. My husband and I have been looking to get a dog trainer for quite some time and we finally bit the bullet and found bark busters more specifically Larry from Bark Busters Home Dog Training Greenville SC. I cannot say enough good things about Larry and his patience and education with dogs. We have three older dogs that are chi mixes 10, 9 and 8 I never thought my dogs can be trained, but Larry changed my perspective and even gave me the confidence and skills to exert leadership and boundaries to my babies! Before Larry they ran the house and caused me and my husband a lot of stress with constant accidents, leash pulling and overall naughty behavior! I am so excited to say our lives have changed ever since meeting Larry from Bark Busters Home Dog Training Greenville SC, he taught us how to communicate with dogs and the true key is the real training happens when he leaves and he gives you the confidence and skills to train your own dogs! If you are in the Greenville South Carolina area! They even come to your house so you don’t have to worry about getting to a class on time. I loved that aspect because I work from home. We are forever grateful for Larry and now have everlasting lifetime trained dogs!
We love the fact that Larry comes to our home to train our yellow lab baby. We thought she was part velociraptor at first, because she loved using me as a chew toy, acting possessed while walking on a leash, and losing her mind when seeing other dogs. After one lesson, we saw improvement from her, the chewing has all but stopped, her leash manners are getting better, and we’re learning how to respond to when she sees other dogs. While she’s still not the best behaved doggy on the block, we have made great strides and continue the training. Our hope is that we’ll be able to walk her in the neighborhood and that she’ll be a well behaved young lady when she meets other dogs. Larry’s suggestions and training methods have been invaluable. Our instructor Larry has been awesome. He really does work with the owners, we didn’t think training was for us as well as the dog. He show us what to do, and gives us a practice schedule to reinforce the lessons. Highly recommended. We also shopped around and their price was less than two other places we looked at.
Larry has been tremendously helpful with our puppy. I found him online and called him in a panic over. Crate training our new puppy. Larry was easy to schedule with, and our puppy was silent in the crate within 10 minutes of Larry’s arrival. he also comes to your home and trains your dog in their own environment. Which I think is the only way to go. We have continued to have weekly sessions with Larry. And every week we are learning new things. I don’t think I could raise a puppy without him. I also want to mention that ohr dog, Waffles, absolutely loves Larry and gets so excited every week when he comes over for training. If you were looking for someone to help train your dog, a new puppy or an older dog, hire Larry at Bark Busters. The puppy package that we purchased is for a lifetime. So we know that down the line if we ever need him or if any bad behaviors come up, Larry will be there to help.
