I called this company to schedule an appointment and ask about their advertised AC Tune-Up promotion. Unfortunately, the representative was unable to clearly explain what was included in the service or what work would actually be performed. I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes and was told they would email me the details, but I never received any email or explanation. When the technician arrived at my home, I asked what the service included before any work was started. He also seemed unable to clearly explain the process. I wanted to understand whether the appointment involved an actual cleaning and inspection of the unit, or if it was simply a visual check with recommendations for additional repairs. My concern was that if extra service was needed, I would rather pay for a full service than pay only for someone to inspect the unit and suggest replacements. Instead of calmly explaining the service, the technician became visibly upset and responded in a louder and more confrontational tone, asking me what exactly I was looking for. I found his attitude and customer service unacceptable, especially inside a customer’s home. I ultimately had to drive back to my house personally to address the situation and understand why he was speaking to me that way. When I spoke with him directly, he stated he was “just there to do his job,” but my issue was the lack of communication and the company’s inability to explain their own advertised service from the beginning. I also contacted the office afterward to report the experience. Customers should clearly understand what services are included before scheduling, and technicians should communicate professionally and respectfully at all times. Unfortunately, after this experience, this is not a company I would recommend.

Excellent Company. Very accommodating and dependable. Owner Mark is very easy to work with and very fair in his pricing for services. His technicians are well trained and very pleasant. Izzy was prompt, professional, and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. He spent a good deal of time servicing my unit inside and outside as well. I highly recommend Dr. Kool. I called on Monday, and they scheduled a service call the very next day, Tuesday.

I have been working with Doctor Kool I believe for almost 12 years. He has responded quickly and professionally everytime I needed his services and help. If something needed 'tweeked ' after a visit, a service man was here ASAP. No hassle. All contracts and services were honored.
