Five Guys at Cherrydale is honestly my favorite burger place in town. For me, it beats every other burger spot around here. The food is consistent, the portions are generous, and the price makes sense for the amount of food you get. Yes, it has more of a fast-food diner feel, but I don’t really care. The burgers are good, the fries are generous, and I know what I’m getting every time. I’d rather come here than pay more somewhere trendier and leave less satisfied.
When I am craving a burger and fries, my expectations are usually pretty high and these guys meet or exceed every time. The restaurant is clean, the staff is upbeat, friendly, and seemingly happy to be working…I asked for my cajun fries crispy and they delivered to perfection!
I understand that I didn't get the smallest, cheapest version of everything... But this price should be the top-end, like if I had gone all out. I like this place, but at these prices I won't be back for a while. This price puts it in the"special occasion" category with actual sit-down restaurants. Then to ask for a tip on top of that to subsidize what you're paying your employees. Lol
Fast food and quick service. But the fries tho. Seriously. If I wanted 54 fries I wouldn’t pay $2.49 for it. Totally unhappy about that. And no I wouldn’t like to pay more for more fries.
I look forward to 5 Guys because of their fresh burgers and great fries. This was disappointing. The fries were not fresh and were soggy. Burger was good as always. Fries, a disappointment.
