Nice course but the sprinklers make it impossible to play some shots unless you accept getting soaked. I was going for a birdie put on the 18th green when out of nowhere 3 bloody sprinklers popped up and sprayed me head to toe. If you're unlucky enough with the timing they will follow you and activate on each hole as you play through. Grounds maintenance is important and the course is in great condition but the timing could be a lot better
I enjoyed playing this parkland style golf course. The greens were in excellent condition, rolling very true and reasonable fast. The tree lined fairways were overall in very good condition, however, the first cut of rough was a bit thin with turf. The fairways were wide enough not to cause too many problems with errant shots. The bunkers were in good condition overall, however, some needed a little more sand. The practice facilities consisted of putting green, warm-up nets and a driving range. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to playing this golf course again in the future.
Nice course, very friendly and helpful staff. I used hire clubs and still managed to enjoy the course but happened (knowingly)to play behind a comp which even allowing for this the 4 in front were very slow. Even had Kangaroos joining me on final holes
While driving past the area around 5 PM, I spotted a lot of kangaroos. Intrigued, I decided to visit the next morning. However, there were no kangaroos to be seen—just people playing golf.
I,ve played over 50 courses around the country. We,ve had our worst experiences here by far. From Shepparton I gave my brother my car and cart to go play a round over there while visiting family. He booked by phone which is safest here not to lose your money. He arrived to be told he has to pair up with 3 strangers in a comp. He wasn,t told that when booking!! He was also in a cart on his own and could,ve easily got around ahead of everyone else. He decided to give it a miss. Really poor treatment from the pro shop and poor communication when booking. Never again!
