Q: Why did the coffee bean keep checking his watch? A: He was pressed for time. Halekulani Bakery is a light, bright, wood-lined bakery featuring treats including croissants, muffins, and coffee. My waifu, Sherly M., told us to come here. As someone who doesn't eat too many sweets, even I found myself falling in love with this place. After a few hours at the beach, we popped into the Halekulani Bakery for a pick-me-up and some treats. $8 Salted Caramel Croissant, $7.50 Chocolate Croissant, $8.50 Guava Matcha, and a $7.50 White Mocha were ordered. AMAZING after a morning on the beach. The drinks were smooth and the croissants were flaky and delicious. I thought the salted caramel croissant would end up being too rich or too sweet but it was perfect with the earthiness of the guava matcha I was drinking. I need to get that coconut cake slice the next time I'm there!

If you’re a coffee lover, this bakery is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone will pull you in. The coffee is incredible, and I loved being able to customize it—I added oat milk and a hazelnut shot and completely fell in love! They also offer a great variety of breakfast sandwiches, and the pastries are absolutely amazing. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made, and I love that the bakery items change—it gives you a reason to try something new every time. I even brought coffee home for my dad, and he approved every drop! I visited daily during my stay, and it never disappointed. Even when there’s a line, it moves quickly, so don’t let that stop you. Highly recommend—you’ll want to try everything!

This bakery is hands down the best bakery in Honolulu! We love it so much that we end up coming back about three times a week. Honestly, if you have no idea what to order, just pick anything with your eyes closed, I’ve yet to try something that wasn’t delicious. Their Matcha Guava drink is also amazing and has become one of our favorites. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into what they make. If you’re visiting Hawaii, this is definitely one place you shouldn’t miss. A must visit for anyone who loves great pastries and good matcha latte!!

Located in the heart of Waikiki, just steps from the beach and surrounding hotels, this bakery is clearly a local favorite. I arrived before 8 a.m., but a long line quickly formed afterward, which says a lot about its popularity. The breads and pastries were fresh and beautifully made. The tropical fruit pastry was especially memorable, with a crisp flaky crust and rich filling. One thing I really appreciated was the abundance of shaded outdoor seating, making it a comfortable place to relax, enjoy breakfast, and watch Waikiki wake up for the day.

The bread was just right, the coffee was fresh. a bespectacled worker standing at the reception was unkind, and she looked expressionless and acted like she didn't understand. I've had a bad time with someone rude since this morning. Is it because I didn't tip? I was looking forward to it because it's a 5-star hotel bakery. Shilla Hotel in Korea is much kinder and the bread is delicious. I guess I expected the kindness of the hotel bakery. 😭 But it wasn't. I hope you work harder on the kindness training of the staff
