We had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Chandler was very knowledgeable and kind! We enjoyed seeing the mangroves with him and were glad that he was there to help us out of any low branches. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a dolphin and saw many birds! It was also so nice that he also took photos throughout the tour and we were able to get them all at the end! It was a great tour for our entire family, some of which had never kayaked before. Make sure to dress appropriately for the sun and bring water!
We had a great time on the kayaking tour through the Mangroves. Chandler was knowledgeable and the route was really fun! We brought our 10yo boys, who had kayaked before at camp and on small rivers. The open bay, wind, and currents, required a bit more stamina for the 2hr duration, so I would recommend a double kayak with a parent if you are teetering on the edge of single or double. With that said, Chandler was properly prepared with a tow rope and kindly towed one kiddo most of the way. We had a great time. The full group was ten boats. We had a couple stops for photos of boaters that Chandler took. We saw some birds and got up close with the mangroves trees and roots. No manatees or dolphins today. Gators don’t live there, if you are at all worried. You should go!
Great experience! This was our third time attending the kayak tour, and it never disappoints. We learned so much about the mangroves and the animals that call them home. The mangrove tunnels are absolutely beautiful and a must-see. Getting photos at the end of the tour is just the cherry on top! Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. A special thank you to our Turkish pirate guide who led us along the way and made the tour very enjoyable!
Book the mangrove tunnels tour! We went out with Chandler as our guide and the entire experience was more than we could’ve asked for. When someone is clearly doing what they LOVE, the customer benefits and that was us today. Chandler is an exceptional young man who put us at ease, made us laugh, knows his stuff and taught us so much - just the perfect blend of all the right stuff to make for a truly unique and worthwhile experience. The surroundings/caves are just stunning - so serene, so calming, so peaceful. Truly felt like an escape from the rest of the world. The intro tips Chandler provided before we headed out were simple and effective when we needed them. The pace was perfect. None of us had our phones out which was a lovely bonus as Chandler captured photos for us. Can’t say enough — such a great value and well worth it. Plus we love supporting a small family business! We will be back and we will be requesting Chandler!
