I have a really old cat whom i adore .He has some medical issues and it cost thousands for me to prepare him to come to Hawaii .I felt so bad because he was looking very sick and i could not afford to pay the medical care.A friend told me about King Street Pet Hospital.I had the most perfect experience with this Pet Hospital. They gave us a appointment the next day and they helped me to collect his medical records from the mainland. The staff was amazing. My cat looked healthier as soon as we arrived.I was very satisfied with the vet who we saw.I was very satisfied with the care he reieved there and with the price of his visit. They made it possible for me to set up a regular heathcare plan for my cat who has problems that will need ongoing care indefinetly for the rest of his life. They also helped me let go of some of my anxiety of how long his life span would be.I left with my pet feeling happy and secure. This is a place we will have in our life a long time.At these prices i can afford to keep all 4 of my cats in tip top shape! Thank you so much King Street Pet hospital! God Bless you all!

the front desk staff were very personable. Tyler was Dr. Wong's assistant. He was very informative and explained the series of puppy vaccines that my Billy would need over the next 6 weeks. They were both so gentle and assured that my Billy was very comfortable that he did not even feel his 1st vaccine...

They have a lot of expertise. The only thing is, I have to have my cat visit the vet before I can buy his prescription food. I know that he needs a check up but we are not evaluating his need for the food in the visit. He does not like the vet so he turns into the cat from hell and has to be sedated to even take him out of his carrier. Stress is a huge co tributer to illness in cats and I fear I am creating the very condition by trying to guard against it. The next sedated visit will be about $400, not including $100 for the food. I feel like I'm being judged when I say it's expensive, but that could be my perception issues. The main goal of the visit is to get an accurate weight. That's an expensive use of a scale! I wish they wouldn't hold his specialty food hostage. Other vets do the same thing too--not sell the food the pet needs and is used to , unless you bting the pet in for a full visit. I wish we could work something out. Im always yold there's no work around. I see both sides. Suggestions?

Doctor Mukai and staff are warm, loving and caring towards our little love bug Matcha. He’s a ball of energy and just loves seeing his friends at King Street Pet Hospital. They’re extremely thorough and was able to help with this little guy’s ear infection. Thank you for all you do!

Dr Wong was great in seeing my ill dog right away. She did testing on-site for quick results and diagnosis. After just a couple night stay my 13yo pup was ready for home with meds and some hi cal food. Multiple calls with updates during her stay made it easy to keep abreast of my pup's progress. Highly recommend.
