For Mother’s Day, my son treated me to dinner here entirely with his own hard-earned money, which made the evening especially meaningful and memorable. The overall experience was very enjoyable with attentive service, quality food, and a welcoming upscale atmosphere. Our table tried a variety of dishes throughout the evening. I had the snow crab legs, steak tartare, and chocolate lava soufflé. The crab legs were fresh, sweet, and paired perfectly with butter and lemon, though sturdier shell crackers would have helped with the larger pieces. The steak tartare was well-balanced and flavorful, and the dessert was rich without being overly heavy. My son ordered the French onion soup, chicken parmesan, and passion fruit crème brûlée, all of which were well presented and thoroughly enjoyed. My partner had the ahi tartare and steak with mushrooms, both cooked and seasoned well. The wine selection paired nicely with seafood and steak options alike, and despite a busy evening, the wait for seating remained relatively short. The atmosphere leaned upscale fine dining while still being comfortable enough for conversation. Parking was plentiful within the shared shopping center area, although front accessibility could be easier to identify from the entrance side. Overall, it was a special family dinner and a restaurant we would gladly return to again. Elijah was a great hostess. Thank you for the fine dining experience.

The filet mignon was outstanding; cooked exactly to order. I had mine butterflied for even more flavor. The Caesar salad had great dressing -- it tasted so fresh! The service here is always the best in town. It's one of those places where you want to go back again and again. At yesterday's visit we tried lobster tails and snow crab legs. Both were generous servings: fresh and juicy and perfectly prepared. Little Joe's is batting 1000 these days. Forget happy hour and go with the main menu. It's worth it!

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. We were seated at a bar top directly by the front door, and every time it opened, a cold draft blew in making both us and our food cold throughout the night. We ordered several items from both the happy hour and dinner menu. The steak tartare was bland and completely lacked seasoning. For comparison, The Pig and the Lady executes this dish exceptionally well; this version missed the mark entirely. The steak tacos had potential, but the wasabi sauce overwhelmed everything else on the plate and completely overpowered the flavor of the steak. The one standout was the steak tips with mushrooms, absolutely divine and the only dish that truly delivered. The lamb chops were flavorless and undercooked (not medium rare as ordered). After sending them back to add garlic butter, they were returned well done; a basic temperature request that should not be difficult for a steakhouse to execute. We also ordered sautéed mushrooms and specifically confirmed they came with garlic and onions. We were assured they did. Instead, we were served plain steamed button mushrooms. When I politely clarified that we ordered sautéed mushrooms like the ones previously served with the pupu steak the manager approached our table. I explained the discrepancy. She stated they do not make sautéed mushrooms and offered to remove them from the bill. Later, when we politely asked for her name, her professionalism completely unraveled. She falsely accused my wife of recording her and then began recording my wife herself. She claimed she felt “uncomfortable” and abruptly stormed off to the kitchen. After closing out our $280 tab, we asked an employee for the manager’s name and were told it was Ryn. Ryn returned and stated they actually can make sautéed mushrooms but were “too busy” to accommodate us. She offered a gift card for the inconvenience, then later said she could not provide one. The entire interaction was disorganized, contradictory, and unprofessional, with blame shifted to staff and the kitchen rather than ownership of the issue. After all this was said, our take out food was never boxed up for us and was ultimately thrown out. That said, 5 STARS to Andre and Dwayne provided exceptional service throughout the evening. They were attentive, professional, and did their best to navigate an uncomfortable situation. The issues we experienced were not a reflection of their effort. Inconsistent food, poorly executed corrections, and management behavior that escalated instead of resolved concerns overshadowed what could have been a quality dining experience. We expected better.

Noah was an awesome waiter. He kept our cups full, answered any questions, fast service and a pleasure to talk to. The Food was amazing. Great ambiance for a date night. You must try!

Have lived in Pearl City a while back, but when I moved back I was surprised to see a restaurant like this here. Reminds me of Hy's in Waikiki but a little cheaper and no dress code. Came in after work and I noticed a lot of families and friends coming for happy hour. I was seated at a table and ordered a nice salad with a filet mignon and a virgin lilikoi martini. My server was very nice and were always checking to see if my food and drinks were to my liking. The complimentary bread was warm and fresh with butter. My salad was crisp with a vinaigrette, blue cheese crumbles, and chopped bacon. My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and my side of asparagus and potato gratin were seasoned well. Also ordered an affogato for dessert to end the meal. Everything tasted amazing, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was calming. If you want to treat yourself to a good meal, definitely give this place a try.
