The team at Maloney Funeral Home handled everything with the utmost professionalism. The funeral director, Dean Maloney, was very respectful, compassionate and took care of every detail. He truly listened and helped us create a beautiful tribute to our loved one. The video created by one of the team members was absolutely amazing. The attention and willingness to accommodate our wishes did not go unnoticed. Thank you!

Wow, where do I start?! First of all Dads church recommended Maloney funeral home. We ordered a casket online and put their information in. They called Maloney and then Maloney called us. One of the most comforting things Dean said to me is that he was going to pick dad’s body up at the hospital and we didn’t have to worry about it. He scheduled for us to come to his office the next day and was so kind and professional with us and had a personal way about him that made us feel so comfortable. He was so patient and understanding. We kept changing our minds on several things and he took it in stride. Mom and I asked him to fix a couple of things on Dad when Dean brought him to the church for the viewing and he was so compliant. He even helped arrange the flowers around the casket. They did such a fantastic job of making Dad look as natural as possible…we were so pleased. At the graveside Dean was so considerate of when we wanted to leave. He really helped a sad experience go as smoothly as possible. We were all so grateful for Maloney’s and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area!!

They are more than personable and professional. They are also fairly priced and detail oriented as they guide you through a sensitive time. A true Sarasota treasure with a small town touch.
