Never received a call to complete my phone interview for my SNAP recertification. Which was supposed to be on 6/9/26. I tried calling back on 6/10/26 and the woman on the other end hung up on me in the middle of me explaining why I was calling. I understand hating your job but don’t make things harder for everyone else. Genuinely horrible customer service. 0/10 Edit: Called back and the second person to answer was nice and helped me get in contact with my caseworker who was also very sweet. She actually did my phone interview on the spot without me having to reschedule which was very nice of her to go out of her way and do. (If you see this thank you, you never know what someone is going through and your kindness meant a lot this week!)

This place is straight up useless. God forbid a working person goes in here asking for some kind of help even if it is a little bit and the "workers" if that's what you even want to call them are so unhelpful it's crazy. But let a woman with a bunch of kids, no job go in there asking for help they open the whole book up to those kind of people. Do better PITT County, there isn't any kind of assistance for the working class here I swear

Tammy one of the amazing persons in the Veterans Service office was polite, respectful, efficient, and responsive. I came from Beaufort County to receive proper and prompt service, I couldn't receive at their VSO in Washington NC.

These people never answer the phone when they do their no help when you go in person they have you waiting for the longest time for the smallest issue like who’s in charge of this place

I find it funny that a post i posted in February 2025 exposing one of your cps workers that did something ILLEGAL without a judges order was deleted. This place and majority of its so called case workers are beyond filth, attitude, and very unprofessional. Child support worker Gary Brinkley, has the nastiest attitude ever, he talks so nonchalant & rude, he has no type of empathy for others situations. Why work in this field if you don't care about helping people? Oh I forgot, its only for a pay check! Do better Pitt County DSS!
