Yeah, yeah, yeah, Delray Beach has more Italian joints than New York license plates during "the season," and honestly, most of the ones on the Ave are worth skipping. But wander a little off Atlantic into Pineapple Grove and you'll find this little gem that's quickly become one of my favorites. A few things up front: 1. They don't take reservations, as others have noted. So... go early, or if you have to wait a bit, don't turn into a Karen. The food is worth the wait. 2. Indoor and outdoor seating. 3. The bar has a solid whiskey and gin lineup. Monkey 47 on the shelf is an automatic win in my book. 4. Speaking of the bar, one request, please: for the love of parmigiana, remove one barstool from the long side. The stools are so close together it feels like you're sharing a bench seat in a '57 Eldorado, trying not to elbow your neighbor into their marinara. Now let's talk about the food: there's really only one way to describe it, and that's "fantastic." The homemade pasta is to-die-for, portions are huge, and Rose's blows away those "legacy" Ave spots that still manage to pay the rent thanks to their name and the snowbirds who think a semi-mediocre $47 bowl of spaghetti and meatballs is five-star. If you want great Italian without the Ave circus, this is the place to go. My personal faves: the chicken and the massive bone-in veal chop parm, both paired with some of that delicious homemade pasta. You really can't go wrong!

We stopped in for a quick bite — our first visit — and were pleasantly surprised. We shared a white pizza, a side of meatballs, and the jumbo shrimp. Everything tasted good; not necessarily unique, but solid homemade flavors at a reasonable price. There’s both indoor seating and a covered outdoor area. Service was excellent and very attentive, even during the busy dinner hour. I asked for the shrimp to be cooked with garlic, and they were happy to accommodate. We walked in without a reservation, though if we had arrived ten minutes later, we likely would’ve had a wait. Their website notes that reservations are only needed for parties of ten or more. There’s a nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle, and the house‑made dessert was very good. Being Italian, nothing beats homemade at home, but on the nights you’re not in the mood to cook, Rose’s definitely satisfies that Italian‑food craving.

Very good Italian food at reasonable prices. Service was very good. The dacor is simple & atmosphere is fun. It's a 1 minute walk from Atlantic ave & well worth it. We ordered 2 salads (Gorgonzola and Burrata & Tomato) and 2 entrees (Ravioli & Margarita pizza)

There is nothing about this restaurant restaurant that screams. I wanna come back chicken piccata I don’t know what that was, but that wasn’t chicken piccata. The Bronzino was in a sauce of milk or something who puts Bronzino in a milky sauce when the San Pellegrino is the best part of the meal we don’t go back.

We had such a fantastic dinner at Rose’s Daughter! Everything from the ambiance to the food was top notch. We started with the charcuterie board, which was beautifully presented — an impressive selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives, spreads, and fresh, warm bread. It felt like the perfect way to begin the evening, especially with a glass of wine (or two). For our mains, we shared the Frutti di Mare and the Beef Tagliata, and both were exceptional. The Frutti di Mare was packed with fresh seafood — shrimp, calamari, mussels, and lobster — in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce that was perfectly balanced married with squid ink pasta. The Beef Tagliata was melt-in-your-mouth tender, served over creamy risotto with mushrooms and herbs that tied everything together wonderfully. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the blueberry-topped cheesecake and cannoli, both of which were the ideal sweet ending — the cheesecake was light yet rich, and the cannoli had that perfect crispy shell and creamy filling. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the cozy, rustic atmosphere made the whole experience feel intimate and special. Rose’s Daughter is a top dining spot in Delray Beach — authentic, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back and already have our next meal mapped out! Note- no reservations.
