I had the best experience with Amanda for my senior photos! They made me feel so comfortable and confident the entire time, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We first met Amanda (Salt + Ivy) at a wedding expo, where she literally recruited my husband & I (lol) but that meant so much to us & truly made her stand out! We ended up booking her & she took both our engagement and wedding photos. She has a “client closet” of dresses that she let me choose from to wear for our engagement pics, which was AMAZING. The weather for our engagement pictures was extremely windy, but I cannot believe how perfect our pictures turned out even with the crazy wind! She knows the best poses and photo shoot spots & is so good at what she does! Jump forward to our wedding day, she was on top of everything! She even just had a baby, but still managed to send us sneak peaks within 24 hours!! We’re already obsessed with those & can’t wait to see the rest :) Definitely recommend booking Salt + Ivy for any photography needs!

Amanda and Michael from Salt and Ivy Photography captured every moment of our wedding day perfectly, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly, and made everything feel effortless. They documented our day at The Drift Hotel in Palm Springs with such creativity and skill. The hotel shots were stunning, the desert scenery was breathtaking, and the pre-party cocktail shots—complete with a Frank Sinatra vibe—were exactly what I envisioned. Their videography captured the essence of the day beautifully, creating a timeless film that perfectly matches the magic of the event. I cannot recommend Amanda/Salt + Ivy Photography enough. When choosing a photographer for our wedding and for our post-wedding mountaintop shoot (instead of an engagement photoshoot), we wanted a photographer who had a unique artistic vision who produced dynamic and emotional shots. We wanted photography that really stood out and was not the run of the mill wedding photography. Most of all, we wanted photography that captured the authentic emotional connection we have and the incredible energy of our big day. When I saw Amanda's work, I knew she was the one. Not only was her work absolutely STUNNING, but she was incredible to work with. We had to change our wedding date 3 total times due to Covid... and even moved it out of state halfway through... Amanda was always flexible, understanding, accommodating and encouraging. The day of the wedding she was calm, loving, fun, and her energy really made the day even more special. Our post-wedding hike/photoshoot the next day was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire wedding experience. Amanda is not only a phenomenal photographer and artist, but an even better human. 10000000000000/10 recommend.
