6/20/24- The company was willing to work with me and sent a replacement controller for the solar array. It worked briefly but has already failed again. I'm hopeful that I can get this resolved with them without having to replace everything. Spent over $1300 on a solar array and sign light set up in Dec of 2021. When assessing the items in the box I realized that some of the items called for in the instructions were not shipped out. I didn’t install the solar array until May of 2022, which wasn’t too challenging but there were some issues with the brackets not having the holes in the right location. Recently I noticed that the light is no longer working, and after opening up the “weatherproof” battery enclosure I found it to be extremely humid and the charge controller had been destroyed by the moisture inside of the enclosure. I called and had expected that they would stand behind their product but because I didn’t fill out the warranty application within 30 days of purchase (the boxes didn’t arrive for 20+ days), I only had a 1 year warranty as opposed to 5. So far they refuse to stand behind their product and offer a replacement, and I cannot recommend them to anyone based upon this.
Ordered $1500+ lighting from them. The three fixtures were on back order but they didn't let me know. Weeks went by and I finally called. All three large Balmoral fixtures were defective. One had a wire that was never connected inside, one is leaking water into it and so is foggy inside, and the third quit working after two months. They have no guarantees. No returns. No instruction came with the fixtures.
Had a small issue but ultimately it was my fault on installation. Either way, their customer service team was professional, attentive, and very helpful.
These guys really know what they're doing. I feel very comfortable buying from them knowing each system is designed for my specific requirements. The equipment works very well.
