I am extremely impressed with WattSun Solar Energy and the solar project I hired them for. Mike Coons came over for the initial visit and explained the entire process to me and helped set expectations. WattSun Solar customer service is outstanding and second to none…that is hard to find today. They even arranged financing and it is was so easy to do. Zero out of pocket and ill be getting a 30% federal rebate that I can apply to the loan. Installation went awesome and I was incredibly happy with all the employees and their attitude as well as craftsmanship. Dennis, Cody, Mike, Dave, Christopher, and Victor…the whole crew is simply great people doing a fantastic job at an affordable price. The Duke Energy guy just came to do the final meter upgrade and he said that he has seen a lot of solar installs by many companies, but even he was impressed with the work WattSun did. I highly recommend WattSun Solar Energy. Mike even came back to take these awesome pics from his drone!

We purchased the system 5 years ago. Ever since then we have still had a significantly high power bill. Recently the enphase technology stopped working and WattSun customer support has been unwilling and unable to help. Customer support keeps trying to blame the manufacturer and the manufacturer has a relationship with WattSun and doesn’t handle customer issues themselves. I’m stuck in an infinite loop of blame game. If I could go back I would never do solar and I definitely would NEVER use WattSun, they deserve to go out of business.

I do NOT usually answer the door for sales calls, but Cody caught me on a day when my wife and I were getting ready to leave for the day. And I am so GLAD that he did! I was curious about solar so I invited him in to educate me. Cody was so knowledgeable but very humble in his approach. All defensiveness that I would usually feel toward a "sales presentation" was immediately gone and I began to get excited about the prospect of becoming a "net-zero" solar home! When Cody came back to meet with us with my actual numbers, (electric usage, panels needed, cost of system and government rebate credit) it was a "no brainer". HOWEVER.... I was disappointed and discouraged to find out that my roof was at end-of-life and I could not get solar installed until that was taken care of. Cody genuinely empathized with my disappointment and recommended a roofer. While I did not ultimately use that roofer, I was able to work it out to get my roof replaced and was then on to my solar installation. Cody's crew worked promptly and very courteously to get everything up and running, and I love the way it looks! Can't wait to get my first Duke Energy bill with solar! Thanks Cody and crew! Update: 06-11-2020 - Absolutely IN LOVE with my tiny little Duke Energy bills!! Thanks SO much WattSun!

Our Experience with WattSun was outstanding. Cayden was our first point of contact, and he made sure we understood everything we needed to choose and install the right system, size, production, warranties, and loan. Once we sign the contract, WattSun assisted us with the whole process to get our project going, including the County and HOA permits. After that, the crew of installers showed up and they were very professional and friendly. Communication was great, the job was done in less than two days and the finishes were super clean (judge by the pictures, not a single pipe visible). I would definitely recommend WattSun to my family and friends.

From day 1 when Rob knocked on my door I was impressed with the company and what they were offering. My husband was hesitant until we sat down with Chris and went over all the numbers. He was sold immediately and he's NOT an easy sell. The installation was done ahead of schedule which was great for us. They were very thorough when explaining the process and steps needed to complete the job. They took their time and made sure everything was done correctly. When everything was up and running, Chris came out to explain how to read the meter so we could track our solar progress. If we could give WattSun a rating higher than a 5 we would definitely do so without hesitation. Thank you for all you’ve done. You made this process from beginning to end…. effortless for us!
