I would not recommend St George’s lawyers to anyone. During my 10 day cooling off period, the law firm didn’t do any searches for strata report. Their response was ‘we usually do this before settlement.’ which is actually too late. I bought into a building that is only 3 years old and -100K in debt. This could’ve been easily avoided/known if the lawyers here did their job during this time. I have spoken to many people and they’ve had great conveyors who have warned them not to buy into certain buildings during their cooling off period because of their searches and alarming things conveyancers pick up during this time. Would never use this law firm again.

I had a pretty positive experience with Satyajit (Jit) and Michael. Jit was highly professional and very well organised. He handled some complex transactions involved during early settlement with the bank and the vendor solicitors, and the overall journey was pretty smooth for me. I would Love to work with Jit again in future, and will highly recommend him for his 1. professionalism 2. technical knowledge 3. swift and dynamic responses, especially with the vendor and bank solicitors.
