Best dumplings I have ever had. Hands down. Food/drink is reasonably priced and location has a nice calm atmosphere. Decent seating available both inside and out. Can imagine it getting busier though, as I visited on a Sunday afternoon outside of typical meal times. Service was very attentive and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough and will be back!
Dumpling were hot and fresh. The dipping chilli sauce was really good. I enjoyed my ginger beer 🍻. Atmosphere of the place is quiet and cosy. Good service.
So impressed I'm leaving a review. We went here before a show at Northern Stage and it was absolutely delicious. Dumplings were great, but the real star was the Bao. Best me and my friend have ever had! The staff were great, super friendly and accommodating! The prices are also super reasonable and I will definitely be back when I'm in Newcastle!
The taste of the food was spectacular, but the service was dreadful. Oh my goodness! No plates were served. We ate from the steaming pots. When I asked for plates, the waitress was angry. Three sauces were served with two bowls. They just removed plates from previous customers without wiping the table. Not happy at all
LOVED IT! Lovely hidden gem! My friend and I shared a few different dumplings and things on the menu. We also had a vegan friend with us who ordered separately. All the food arrived close together, very hot, and make sure we knew which ones were hers. The food tasted amazing, it was cheap and the majority came in sets of 6, so definitely getting your moneys worth. The actual place was quiet and peaceful. I loved it here, would 1000% go again.
