Yesterday was my 1st day going to the YMCA in Kailua. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the friendly staff. I took an Aqua class and everyone welcomed me. I was so impressed how friendly and warm everyone was. I loved the instructor and the people that I met. I am now a full time member. Thank you Kailua YMCA.
The Windward YMCA is truly the best! I’ve lived in Kailua my whole life, and after joining a couple of months ago, I can honestly say it’s better than any other gym in Kailua. The facility is spotless, the machines are well-maintained, and the entire place is air-conditioned with free parking. The staff and members are so welcoming—they greet you when you arrive and when you leave, which makes it feel like a real community. With so many great classes and such a positive atmosphere, it’s a hidden gem in Kailua.
I love coming to the Y! When my schedule allows and doesn’t conflict with my class times, I come Monday-Friday or as much as possible. The instructors, staff and other participants are very positive and encouraging for this couch potato, and I’ve made new friends and run into old friends I haven’t seen in years!
Great facilities with a wide variety of classes and equipment.
My daughter has been taking swim lessons here. The instructors are very warm and encouraging. They have lots of songs and fun activities to help the kids get into a routine of what the class will consist of while also giving them a chance to build their skills throughout the session.
